Dr. Mara L. Taylor is a strategist,
not a therapist.
Since 2002 Dr. Taylor has used her strategies to help change the lives of tens of thousands of men, women and children in prisons and jails across the United States. While these individuals are physically in prison, they are finding an internal freedom that permits them the ability to rebuild their lives in a meaningful manner.
Physical prison is one thing, but the prison created within the mind can be even more debilitating.
Sometimes therapy does not result in a solution. A strategic plan of action works better for many people.
Dr. Taylor earned a Masters degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University, a second Masters degree from Pepperdine in Clinical Psychology. She earned a doctorate degree in Psychology from California Southern University. Became an Ordained Interfaith Minister from The New Seminary and has earned many awards for her work with the incarcerated.
